Power must return to the citizen, because politicians don’t handle it well
The current political parties don’t handle your vote well. They lure you in with an appealing party programme, in which you see many positions you like. Once the elections have taken place and a government is formed, suddenly little remains of the positions that seemed so attractive. Moreover, the average person rarely agrees with all of a party’s positions. In the voting-aid tool you often only have 60 to 70% agreement with the positions of your most favoured party. So you vote for a party you disagree with 30 to 40% of the time.
